How a young Ivory Coast daughter helped bring her family back together.
As Giving Tuesday 2018 approaches, we would like to share a story of transformation with you that only God could make happen.
In its second year using Life on Life discipleship curriculum, the Bonoumin Assembly church in Ivory Coast has seen and felt the ripple effect Life on Life helps create. A young girl witnessed the daily conflict of her parents’ failing marriage. The family had become so dysfunctional that the mother was prepared to abandon the child. However, the girl was a student at a local church in Abidjan that was using the Life on Life curriculum. As she told her parents about the lessons she was learning and her stories about God, they saw her spiritual growth. This transformed her parents’ hearts and restored their marriage. Now, the family is intact and attending church regularly.
Stories like these demonstrate how Life on Life equips churches to disciple children who are then agents of change in the world around them. Life on Life is designed to equip children with spiritual formation, character development, and life skills to prepare them to be healthy adults.
We welcome you to partner with us as we reach at-risk children around the globe. Our goal is to equip and empower local churches to use this free resource in a self-sustainable process for many years to come.
