COVID. Printing issues. Shipping delays. Lack of available storage space. The Story of Jesus Project in Africa has experienced a myriad of unexpected delays. And while we have been anxious to equip our ministry partners with the training and resources they need to share the gospel in East Africa, we know this with certainty—God’s timing is better than anything we could have planned.
As 400,000 copies of The Story of Jesus are in transit to East Africa, we ask that you join us in covering this project in prayer. Please pray:
- For ministry leaders to feel equipped and encouraged by the video training and printed leader guides they will receive to help them share the gospel with children in effective, age-appropriate ways.
- For many children (and even adults!) in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, and South Sudan to be filled with hope as they are welcomed into God’s family or recommit their lives to Him.
- For the final customs and storage details to be settled easily so the booklets will reach their destinations quickly.
- For Serah, our Africa coordinator, as she manages the many details of training ministry leaders, receiving the booklets, and distributing them to our ministry partners.
- For the donors who made this project possible to know the tremendous impact of their generosity on the children of East Africa.
- For God to bring glory to His name through this amazing opportunity for outreach.
