Enlarging the Territory

Blessings from Believer’s Church, Surkhet, Nepal!

We are looking forward to our Christmas program again this year, because of how God showed up last year. We reached 830 students!

But that’s not all.

The “Good News” of Jesus’ message in The Story of Jesus booklet was shared at the program. Between local political leaders, officials, teachers, citizens from the community, and students, we reached over 1,200 people.

But still there’s more.

Because of our Christmas program, two teachers from the community are now attending our church, as well as several new students. Also, people from our district are requesting that Believer’s Church bring our Christmas program not only to schools, but also locally to them.  Going into the community was not at all what we expected, but God has his ways. We are amazed by his call to influence our community far beyond the church walls.

Scripture:

Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, ‘Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.’ And God granted his request. I Chronicles 4:10

Prayer:

God, we remember that ministry is happening all around the world. But specifically we pray for the people in Surkhet, Nepal. Expand their reach with the love of God, far beyond the walls of Believer’s Church, until their entire community knows of your great love.

Expanding Your Territory

May God bless you!
